In pics: classical residences in Xiamei Village, SE China

Photo taken on Nov. 5, 2019 shows a family shrine of the Zou clan, built in the 17th century, in the historical Xiamei Village in Wuyishan, southeast China's Fujian Province. Xiamei Village in southeast China preserves some 70 classical residences which date back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Besides the old residences, the village's canal, pavilions and streets all add to the aesthetics of a Chinese waterfront community. (Xinhua/Ma Ping)
