BEIJING, July 20 (Xinhua) -- The 16th China International Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Exhibition (China Foodtech) will be held in Beijing from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, China Trade News reported.
The exhibition, which is held biennially, will showcase the most advanced technologies and equipment of the sector.
Jarvis Machinery Manufacture (Beijing) Co. Ltd., a leading producer of meat and poultry processing equipment, is a regular exhibitor at China Foodtech.
"We have attended the exhibition since 2006, and we are glad to show our products in exhibitions as professional as China Foodtech," the newspaper quoted a manager of the company as saying.
Known as the barometer of the country's food and packaging machinery industry, China Foodtech has attracted about 100 foreign exhibitors each year since it was launched in 1989.
