SKOPJE, June 25 (Xinhua) -- Two migrants died and another 17 were injured on Monday due to a traffic accident in Radovis-Stip road, eastern Macedonia, police informed.
According to the police, the crash happened after a van carrying migrants from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka hit the fence of a bridge. Soon after the accident, the driver of the van fled the scene.
The 17 injured migrants were immediately transferred to the nearest hospitals.
The van was carrying many more migrants who managed to escape after the accident, added the police. Enditem
