RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- Vasco da Gama has completed the signing of Nottingham Forest defender Cuiabano on a season-long loan, the Brazilian Serie A side said on Thursday.
The agreement runs until December 31 and includes a purchase option for an undisclosed fee.
"The player arrived on Thursday morning to undergo medical exams and will now proceed with the bureaucratic steps to be officially announced as the newest addition to our squad," the Rio de Janeiro club said.
Cuiabano, 22, joined the Premier League's Forest from Botafogo in January 2025 but immediately returned to the Brazilian club on loan.
The left-back rejoined Forest last month, playing two games with the club's U-21 team. ■
